DO NOT [LEECHING] Leeching that involves a ‘Member’ NOT been an active part of the Forum is NOT allowed. An example of this is, a ‘Member’ who downloads from the forum (NZB or other files) without Posting a ‘Thank you’ Message. This means a decent ‘Thank you’ NOT a one worded or plainly rushed reply.

DO NOT [CRACKS/SERIALS] Posting or Requesting of Cracks or Serials of ANY nature is NOT permitted. This forum does NOT condone this in any way. This includes NFO files you may attach to a post which may include a Serial. It is your duty to ensure you do NOT supply or request any of these or anything related which also INCLUDES instructions on how to apply a Serial code or Crack. This will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [COVER ART] Posting or Requesting of individual Covers (Cover Art) is NOT permitted. United-Forums.co.uk is NOT allowed to store on it's server (locally) ANY illegal cover art. This will get you BANNED.
This means do NOT attach to posts anywhere on the forums the following...

• NO Scans
• NO ‘Made Covers’ (Custom) that ARE intentionally made and supplied for ANY Copyrighted Title.

DO NOT [SPAM] Posting of the same thread is spamming. If you ask a question for example. There is no need to ask it again under another thread. Posting of the same links over and over is also classed as spamming.
Members should also know that using forums such as the Jokes forum to spam many Jokes in separate posts in order to quickly build their Post Count is also spamming. Such posts like this should be included in ‘1’ post where ever possible. Spamming will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [YOUR ACCOUNT] Allowing anyone else to use your account is NOT permitted. The account is owned by YOU. For YOU to use, no one else. Account sharing will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [USERNAMES] Making multiple accounts is NOT permitted. ONE account per user only. Doing this will result in all the accounts been made by the same user been BANNED.

DO NOT [NONSENSE] Two word replies, replied to state you have PM'd someone etc are classed as NONSENSE posts. Please do NOT waste resources with worthless posts. NONSENSE Posts will get you WARNED.

DO NOT [SKY TV] Never under any circumstances request or start a discussion about anything with regards to Sky Digital or Analogue Modifications, chipping or cards. This includes taking part in a discussion that has already been started. This will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [CONSOLE CHIPS/MODS] Never ask for help or instructions to install ANY Console Chips or Modifications to over come the Copy Protection of ANY Console platform. This includes the selling of any Console Chip Installation or Modification service. This will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [SELLING] Advertising the Sale of or Trading of any Copyrighted material. Solo or part of a bundle package. This will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [TROUBLE CAUSING] We will NOT tolerate trouble causing of any nature. This includes to other member, admin's & forum staff. This will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [UNACCEPTABLE LANGUAGE/RACISM] We will NOT tolerate bad language or racism. This will get you BANNED.

DO NOT [REQUEST/ASK FOR HELP] If you have NOT posted a ‘Welcome Message’ or an ‘Hello’ post in the ‘New Member?’ Forum. In this case, please DO NOT ‘Request’ anything or ask for ‘Help’. We expect that our ‘New Members’ introduce them selves. If you can not be bothered then fine. But Please DO NOT expect anyone to go out of their way to help YOU.

WEB LINKS [URL's] When you Link to other Sites Please use the [code]http://www.united-forums.co.uk[/code] tag to display the Web Link as CODE. This eliminates sites ‘Hot Tracking’ who is Linking to their Site and (or) Files. This will get you WARNED.

DO NOT [OVERSIZED SIGS/TAGS] Ensure your Sig is no bigger than 500x250. Sigs must NOT contain content that will offend. These include racism, porn & swear words. We reserve the right to remove and Warn you should your Sig be inappropriate for this forum. So please exercise your better judgment when using them.
LIMITATIONS: You are allowed ‘1’ Sig and ‘1’ gamer tag only.
Adding more than the allowed Sig number will get you WARNED.

NZB Request Rules : (non-negotiable's)
* Failure to abide by the Request Rules will result in REQUEST RIGHTS REMOVED

‘1’ Max Requests per thread. This means you are NOT allowed to make multiple Requests on one thread. If you are to make more than one Request (Max of 3). You should make another thread post. Each thread MUST include the full title of the Request in the Topic field.

‘3’ MAX REQUESTS AT ANY ONE TIME If ‘1’ is FiLLED and you have ‘2’ NOT FiLLED you can in this case Request ‘1’ to take your MAX Request allowance to ‘3’.

REQUEST TITLE IN TOPIC: When you make a Request. Ensure that the title of what you are Requesting is in the Topic field of that post.

REQUEST NO LONGER NEEDED: If YOU no longer require a request YOU made.
EDIT your post and mark it for DELETING. This is important to keep the forum tidy!

MULTIPLE REQUESTS OF SAME TITLE: Do NOT Request something that is already Requested just to make it appear at the top of the forum. In this case reply to the other post which is Requesting the SAME title. You may use the word *Bump* to show you have bumped the thread to make it jump to the top. (at the same time do not over *Bump* see Bump Rule).*BUMP* For those of you that are familiar with forums, may have used *Bump* before. It is purely for making a Topic jump to the top of the forum. This you would do by simply replying to your own post or someone else’s that you feel you need to *Bump*.
However, do NOT over *Bump* threads. If you or someone else has BUMPED a thread then it should NOT be BUMPED again for 48 Hours. BUMPING a thread or replying to it which makes it obvious that a *Bump* has been done should not happen more than once within a 48 Hour period. If someone already BUMPED the post, please don't do it again unless there is need. Doing so could make you responsible for breaking this Rule.

REQUESTS ARE LIMITED: To decent posters / Request fillers. This is also inclusive of downloading from the Requests area. If you’re DECENT post count is bad. Then you will NOT be able to make a post or download anything from the Request forum.

LOW RETENTION NEWSGROUP SERVICES: It has become an issue with some ‘Members’ having low retention Newsgroup service access. This is usually an ISP Newsgroup server which is typically limited to 7 days Maximum retention or less. This makes it difficult to find or fill Requests. Not only that, it is unfair to those trying to help find for you what you are seeking.
Help us to help you! If you Request something. Take into consideration the following...

• Limitations are set by YOU. If you have low retention Newsgroup access.
• If something you Request is found and is 6 days old, what is the chance in you getting it before it expires from your low retention server you are using?
• If someone was kind enough to upload it. By the time the upload had completed, would you get it in time on a low retention server.

NEVER FLAME someone due to YOUR own restricted Newsgroup Server.
Failure to abide by the RULES put in place to keep the ‘Requests - NZBs’ forum tidy, fair and to limit the abuse, will result in you loosing YOUR access to the Request area or maybe a loss of access to ANY NZB area. This is non negotiable.
